Project Overview
Role: Product Designer (Sole designer)
Timeline: 6 weeks, 2025
Scope: Brand identity & landing page
Outcome: Our beta crossed 500 users
Raze is a Telegram native trading platform built to simplify the fragmented trading experience on Solana. I worked across the entire product identity including branding, mascot design, landing page design, product experience, motion assets, social launch creatives, tone of voice and creative direction.

The Challenge
Trading on Solana moves extremely fast, but the user workflow doesn’t.
To enter a trade, users often needed to:
Discover a token through X/Twitter
Copy the contract address
Verify whether the token was safe
Switch between multiple protocols
Manually swap assets
Monitor positions elsewhere
By the time users completed these steps, opportunities were often gone.
Most products are optimized for speed and analytics, but the overall experience still felt fragmented, aggressive, and cognitively heavy.
We saw an opportunity to rethink that experience entirely.
The Vision
Instead of building another intimidating trading terminal, we wanted Raze to feel:
Lightweight
Approachable
Internet native
Instantly recognizable
The vision was to simplify Solana trading into a conversational experience where users could take action directly within a familiar messaging environment.
Users could:
Swap assets
Check balances
Copy wallets
Long or short assets
Verify tokens
Interact with tokenized stocks
and many more…
without constantly switching between tabs, protocols, and dashboards.
Building the Brand Personality
The brand voice was designed to feel:
conversational
relatable
meme native
playful without becoming unserious
I worked on defining the tone and messaging across the landing page, social assets, and launch materials.
The copywriting focused on reflecting real user frustrations in a more human way instead of relying on overly technical crypto language.
This helped position Raze less like a protocol and more like a living internet-native product.

Landing Page & Launch Experience
One of the hardest design challenges was communicating a technically dense product quickly and clearly while maintaining the playful brand identity.
The landing page needed to:
explain the product immediately
establish trust
communicate utility
introduce the mascot and visual world
create excitement around launch
Alongside the landing page, I also created:
launch videos
OG images
marketing visuals for X
and much more
The goal was to create a cohesive ecosystem where the product, motion, and brand identity all felt connected.

Behind the Scenes
The project involved close collaboration with the founder throughout the design and iteration process. This collaborative approach helped shape Raze into a recognizable product personality within the Solana ecosystem.
Reflection
Raze taught me how to design beyond interfaces.
The project explored how emotional branding, conversational UX, and visual storytelling can work together to simplify technically complex products.
More importantly, it reinforced the idea that even in high-speed crypto environments, users still connect most deeply with products that feel human, expressive, and emotionally memorable.
